Welcome back and Happy New Year!
The library will be holding our semi-annual booksale from Monday, January 12 through Sunday, January 18. Reasonably priced books will be on the tables in the library. After this sale, most of the remaining books will be donated to a needy overseas country through Rutgers University's connection with Better World Books. So this might be your last chance until August to find a bargain medical school textbook from the Media Library! We will continue to hold booksales twice a year, however.

Borrow Nonfiction titles for holiday break!!!

The holiday break might be the perfect time to borrow one of the popular nonfiction books that the Media Library displays on racks ( Soul of a Doctor, How Doctors Think, The Great Influenza, Better, Complications, just to name a few)...these are interesting titles that you might not have time to read when classes are being held. These can be borrowed at any time, and can be used for longer periods of time. So before you leave after your last exam, come in and check a book out for that long plane or car ride, or some quiet time at home at last!

Holiday Schedule

The Media Library in Piscataway will close at 5 PM on Friday, December 19. We will be CLOSED from Saturday, Dec. 20 through Sunday, Jan. 4. We will reopen at 9 AM on Monday, Jan. 5, 2009.
If you need to borrow any books before you leave for the break, please visit the library on Friday Dec. 19 before 5 PM. If you are returning books to the book drop, please remember to push them to the back and do not leave them on the inner shelf. If the drop is full, bring them in to the desk on Monday morning, Jan. 5.
Have a safe and enjoyable holiday!
